About Mayor Hudson's Re-Election Campaign

Inspiring Change

It has been my honor to serve as the Mayor of Fort Pierce for the past three terms. I am incredibly passionate about this city and its people; I believe there is no place quite like Fort Pierce in the world.

My approach to working for the people has always been straightforward and consistent. I pride myself on meeting with local organizations, serving on committees, and attending every town event.

My commitment to this community is unwavering.

I have spent countless hours building relationships with leaders and residents from every facet and corner of the community. My goal has always been to be accessible, approachable, and responsive to the needs of the residents whom I have the privilege to represent. I know that without the support and involvement of all members of our community, we cannot thrive and progress together.

I am Linda Hudson, and I am running for re-election as Mayor of Fort Pierce. Together we can continue to move Fort Pierce forward and build a brighter future.

Mayor Hudson's Work

Overall crime is down 51% and violent crime down 33%. Investment in police salaries, technology and equipment, crime prevention, community policing and training in recent years has contributed to the increased safety of our citizens and visitors.

Fort Pierce is relocating the Island Water Reclamation (IWRF) off the Indian River Lagoon to protect the Indian River Lagoon and our waterways.

Fort Pierce is enhancing and improving parks throughout the city, including Jaycee Park (Kids Park, pickle ball courts and floating docks), Dreamland Park (Memorial Wall and parking), Fenn Park (varied recreational amenities for children and adults). Additional Pickleball courts planned for Indian Hills Golf course.

Increased communication from residents and businesses via SeeClickFix App to report problems throughout the city and increase our ability to keep Fort Pierce beautiful.

Future plans include a waterfront seaplane base, increasing size of Fort Pierce City Marina, and adding marine code enforcement initiative to prevent illegal pollution of our waterways.  Opening of the Florida Highwaymen Museum at 1234 Avenue D.  Increased presence of FPPD in the rapidly-growing western corridor of the city.
